"You have always resented that the coven desires Alice," went on Nashira calmly, "so tonight, I shall have the coven hunt you."  

Elle went still. ". . . What?" 

"Do not mistake my methods for cruelty but rather, a way to end your envy. You wanted to be Alice, and you shall be. You were always so busy hating and envying her," said Nashira with a shrug, "that you did not notice just how many admirers you had. I have summoned them here tonight, and I have given them permission to feed upon you, fuck you, and toy with you as they please. They will not be gentle." 

Elle's mouth fell open.

Elle's heart was pounding in her ears when Martina cupped one of her breasts and squeezed it through her dress, whispering all the while, "Finally, I can have you, without punishment, without remorse --" 

"Victoria will kill you when she hears about this!" Elle mocked, loving the hungry desire in Martina's dark, glittering eyes. 

Martina laughed derisively. "Victoria? She cannot stand against me!"
