Saviors 01: Halo of Ashes

Centuries after the Old World has crumbled, an immortal king’s perennial quest to annihilate an ancient superhuman brotherhood is given fresh life when the existence of a new member is discovered. An elite force of soldiers is dispatched to the city of Magran, crown jewel of the Western Lands, on a mission to conquer them and capture him.

In this new world of drudgery and hardship, morals and decency have taken a backseat to wanton greed and violence. Amidst the decline of humanity after the cataclysmic event which destroyed the world, a prophet had emerged to lead the people back into faith. A century after his disappearance, few pockets of civilization continue to follow his teachings and the uneasy peace is only ever just shy of descending into chaos.

A youngster with troubling occultist gifts who fights to gain control over them.
A fiercely spirited but disreputable young woman who struggles with independence in a world controlled by men.
A kindly healer with guarded secrets who attempts to manipulate love into his coldly logical existence.
A stoic lawman, in over his head, who is saddled with the task of uniting a country.

They must each step up to face the seemingly insurmountable threat confronting their domain. The lost prophet’s words must be spoken again:
“There is no wall so strong that it cannot be broken by will. There is no enemy that cannot be vanquished by faith. There is no victory without struggle.”

Fledgling friendships are forged into bonds of steel and unlikely heroes are born from the fires of war as the Western Lands unite in arms against an empire built on tyranny and fear.
